1. Training Sessions

From Wednesday Feb 19 we will commence training sessions at McEwen Reserve on Multipurpose 1 - see exact location by clicking here.

Training will take place Wednesdays and Fridays from 4pm to 5:30pm. It’s compulsory to wear the training kit, shin pads and soccer boots for training.

What to bring - water, good attitude and lots of energy!

If your child is not able to attend a training session or game, please notify us on the app.

2. Communication

All communication regarding training and match day updates will be done on the Stack App.

You will be sent a link via txt message to join. If you are already on Stack, search for Powergoal FC and submit a request to join.

The Club will not communicate via txt message, emails and Facebook Messenger (we did this in 2024 and it was very time consuming for everyone involved!)

3. Soccer Kit

Our soccer kit for 2024 was all white with gold stripes and a long sleeved shirt .

This year we are keeping the all white color theme but with a short sleeved shirt and maybe some hints of red and blue (this is still in the design stage).

The soccer kit for 2025 includes one shirt, one pair of shorts and one pair of socks. Fittings will be done in the first training session of the season.

The training kit for 2025 includes one shirt and one pair of shorts and kids are expected to wear it for the training sessions once the kits have arrived.

4. SJSA Player Registration

The Shepparton Junior Soccer Association (SJSA) requests that parents complete a registration form before they can be registered for the 2025 season.

Please download, complete and return the SJSA registration form via email to hello@powergoal.com.au. The file below will open on another page and you may need to download the file from there to your computer in order to enter your details online without having to print this form. You can also print this form if you wish.

6. Last but not least

As a club, we try our best to make every child feel safe, included and heard. We ask that parents talk to their children prior to training commencing so that we are all on the same page. We also find that children do better on the pitch when their families are watching them play on match day.

Any disrespect from players and their families towards other players and/or their families, coaches, staff, referee, linesmen or the opposition team will not be tolerated. We apply a three strike policy: the players and/or their family will get two warnings (verbal and via email). A third time will result in your child being cut from the team and no refunds will be given. We are all here to enjoy this beautiful game and to lead by example.

Our foundation was built on respect, discipline, team work, commitment, achievement and determination. It’s not always about winning every game. It’s about showing up to play and give your best every game. Your child was selected because he performed well in the trials and displayed the right attitude. We don’t apply the “who you know” approach seeing around other clubs in Shepparton. Players are selected based on their own capabilities and potential, and this extends to game day.

If you have any concerns, suggestions or complaints please email me at fernanda@powergoal.com.au

With that being said, we are very excited to have you with us this year and looking forward to an awesome 2025 season! Let’s go!
